Some of Disney’s Most Recognizable Characters Visit Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital’s Downtown Campus

LOS ANGELES – January 2, 2008 – Mickey Mouse and cast members from Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour greeted young patients at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center and Orthopaedic Medical Center Urgent Care Center on the downtown campus today.

 

About 30 children enjoyed the special appearance by the Disney stars at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital’s Everychild Foundation Universally Accessible Playground, located adjacent to the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center. Open to the public, this playground is designed to accommodate children in wheelchairs, leg braces, crutches and other barriers that leave them sidelined at traditional playgrounds.  

 

The stars brightened spirits and encouraged young patients while promoting physical activity and fun.

 

Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour skated into the Southland December 18^th through January 4^th.
