Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital (LAOH) is expanding its Board of Trustees and welcomes Scott Keifer, CFA.

LOS ANGELES, September 9, 2011 Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital (LAOH) is expanding its Board of Trustees and welcomes Scott Keifer, CFA. Mr. Keifer will work on the finance committee, helping to guide portfolio strategy and asset allocation. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is the Executive Director of the Los Angeles office of JP Morgan Private Bank.

In his role as Executive Director, Mr. Keifer is responsible for delivering the firms services and capabilities, and is responsible for overseeing approximately 2 billion dollars in assets for private individuals and institutions. His expertise in developing asset allocation strategies and implementing portfolio construction brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board of Trustees, which focuses on maintenance and growth of its investments. This allows the organization to continue to provide the finest in orthopaedic care to all children, regardless of their ability to pay.

Mr. Keifer looks forward to this next challenge, understanding that the finance committees success means that vulnerable kids in need will be able to be treated. "What has really impressed me is that while there are so many families in need, Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital does not turn kids away and that they get the best orthopaedic care. We are excited to have Scott join the board and his expertise will be an enormous asset to LAOH. Mr. Keifer lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife Kristin and their four children.
