(Los Angeles – February 2, 2012) The Renee and Meyer Luskin Children’s Clinic of Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital has relocated to its new home in the Orthopaedic Hospital Institute of Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital. The opening of the new hospital is the result of a strategic alliance between Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital (LAOH) and UCLA that began in 1998. It enhances each institution’s capacity to lead advancements in musculoskeletal patient care, research and education throughout the world. Complementing this alliance is Renee and Meyer Luskin’s extraordinary $1,000,000 gift to LAOH -- the single largest gift made by an individual benefactor during his or her lifetime in the 100-year history of the institution.

Residing in Brentwood, California they continue to invest in their community and not only in children’s health and welfare. Both passionate Bruins, a $100 million gift to UCLA announced earlier this year will support the university’s ability to foster meaningful and effective exchange of ideas among scholars, civic leaders and the community. UCLA’s School of Public Affairs was renamed the Meyer and Renee Luskin School of Public affairs in recognition of their overwhelming demonstration of confidence in UCLA as a force for addressing society’s most important challenges.
