 Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital
Hillary A. Norton
Hilary A. Norton has been appointed Chairwoman of the Foundation Board of Trustees at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital (LAOH). Ms. Norton is the first woman in the 100-year history of LAOH to chair the Foundation Board of Trustees.

“As a former soccer player, a parent of two children and a soccer coach for AYSO Glendale Region 88 for the last seven years, I am keenly aware of the importance of world class sports injury prevention and treatment. This past summer, LAOH doctors treated my son for two broken fingers from playing basketball, and he was back on the court injury-free this year playing basketball in the Crescenta Valley Falcon League. I am grateful for LAOH’s medical talents and honored to be associated with an institution that has healed over two million children in its 100-year history, providing expert treatment and compassionate care to all children with orthopaedic disease, disorders and traumatic injury,” states Ms. Norton.

Ms. Norton has been involved with LAOH for five years, serving as Co-Vice Chairwoman of the Foundation Board of Trustees and Chairwoman of the Governance Committee. Ms. Norton has a 20 year career in public policy advocacy in Los Angeles. She is now Executive Director at Fixing Angelenos Stuck in Traffic (FAST), which is dedicated to implementing practical and cost-effective solutions to the Los Angeles region’s traffic crisis. Ms. Norton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Wellesley College and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Norton resides in Eagle Rock and has a 13 year-old son and a 9 year-old daughter who are both all-star soccer players.
